"Xiao long bao is super tasty!! The soup inside is very flavorful. Sheng Jian is not as impressive as Xiao long bao but still so tasty. I would definitely eat here again if I ever back to visit Cologne"

"Very nice place for sheng jian bao in a quiet street. Owners are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Great tasting buns, springy dough and juicy meat (or veggie/vegan) fillings! Good vinegar and chili oil too. Well priced for nice food! Very small shop (approx 8p seating inside)"

"Tiny mostly takeout place (but they have some seating, no toilets though). It’s run by an Asian lady. The dumplings were great, good price and delicious. We came 2 hours before closing and they had unfortunately run out of the popular ones."

"Juicy pan-seared Baozi, aka Sheng Jian Bao, served up in a cozy hole-in-the-wall setting. Salads, wonton soup and noodle soup are on the menu, too. A few vegetarian options are available. In this mom-and-pop small business, the man is the chef and the lady of the house is deft at explaining the menu items to first timers, in German as well as in English, Mandarin Chinese and her Wenzhou dialect. Card payment is 10€ and up. Great for a healthy and comforting meal before running to the train. As the store front faces a church and a car free patch, the location offers stress free eating. Always a plus."

"Delicious food and very attentive and nice staff. The soup is the perfect meal for the winter but they also have salads. The stars of the show are definitely the baos however the soup shines as well. Both were magnificent! Highly recommend, great spot, super cozy and great price."
